Colibri Ridge Winery & Vineyard is a small family-owned winery located on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada Foothills in the southern part of El Dorado County. The winery and vineyard are located high on a ridge top within the "Fair Play" American Viticultural Area (AVA).
The free-draining decomposed granite soils and the gentle afternoon breezes, combined with the abundance of warmth from the summer sun during the day and cool nights, produce the quality fruit that makes our delicately-balanced and full-bodied wines.
The winery and vineyard overlook the western foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range with spectacular views of the immediate area, and the Sacramento and San Joaquin valleys. Tasting is conducted within the working winery and is nestled amongst the fine French and American oak wine barrels used to store and age the wines.
