Folsom’s first off-leash dog park, FIDO Field (aka Folsom Dog Park) is at Cummings Family Park. It includes a shade structure, grass, benches, drinking water, and separate small dog area. The park is closed on Wednesdays. You can call 916-461-6677 to see if the dog park is closed due to poor weather.
The Cummings Family Park is located at 1775 Creekside Drive in Folsom, California. The park is open from sunrise to sunset. There are no fees for using the dog park. The rules of the dog park are posted at the entrance and include cleaning up after your dog and keeping your dog under control at all times.
While the rules for four-legged visitors vary across California’s state parks, Folsom Lake State Recreation Area (SRA) offers a very pup-friendly experience.
