Grand-Paws’ mission is to rescue primarily large breed, senior dogs who’ve been abandoned. They rescue dogs from local high-kill shelters and let them live out their lives in their sanctuary or in one of their wonderful foster homes where they’re happy, safe, and loved.
When appropriate Grand-Paws attempts to find permanent, loving homes, however, the rescue chooses to work with large breed seniors because they are the least likely to be adopted from the shelters.
