Hillcrest Community Park, located at Grant Street and Olivera Road in Concord, spans 26-acres and features athletic fields for softball, baseball and soccer, a disc golf course, duck pond, creek and a model airplane flying area. The are several picnic areas with one reservable group picnic/BBQ site.
The park is also home to Matteo’s Dream: A Playground for Children of All Abilities, one of the few playgrounds in the nation where children who cannot walk, see or hear can play safely alongside children who can. Matteo’s Dream, which opened in May 2007, is the largest playground in the city.
Dogs must remain on leash while at Hillcrest Community Park.
