Lion’s Gate Hotel

This 124-room hotel on the campus of the former McClellen Air Force Base is so dog-friendly it sometimes hosts dog shows on the grounds. Grassy areas, picnic tables and lots of shade add to the appeal for DogTrekkers. Motel-style rooms opening directly to the outdoors as well as rooms with interior hallways are available. Several former private residences with fenced back yards also can be rented.
