Main & Elm is owned by Lutticken’s Inc., which already has three other Peninsula locations. Two are located at the Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto and one in Menlo Park. "They are known for their sandwiches”, said owner Bob Lutticken who has already taken over the business which formally housed the Main Street Coffee and Roasting Company.
Main & Elm has remodeled the back patio and warehouse area of the Main Street Coffee Company building so that it resembles the Lutticken’s location in Menlo Park which serves as a popular wine bar after 5 p.m.
