Directions:
Take I-10 several miles past Indio, heading east. Take the 86 Expressway exit towards Brawley. After turning right onto the 86 Expressway, travel nearly 10 miles to 62nd Ave. Turn left onto 62nd Ave. and drive several miles until reaching Johnson St. Turn right and drive several miles to 66th Ave. (Box Canyon Rd.) Proceed almost 5 miles past many grove and citrus ranches, and over the All American Canal. Continue driving on Box Canyon Road for 7.8 miles past the Painted Canyon sign. You will see a sign with a large white map on your right. Pull off the road and park near this sign.
