Marin Municipal Water District Logo Nicasio Reservoir is one of seven reservoirs operated by the Marin Municipal Water District (MMWD)

This area is open to the pubic for fishing (no boats permitted), easy walks, dog walking, and picnics.

• Dogs must be on leash.
• No boats or swimming permitted.
• Please pick up after your dog.

Directions:

From San Francisco:

• From the Golden Gate Bridge take Highway 101 north for 14 miles to the exit for Lucas Valley Road. Take that exit and go 0.3 miles to Lucas Valley Road. Turn left on Lucas Valley Road and drive 10.3 miles to Nicasio Valley Road. Bear right on Nicasio Valley Road and drive 0.5 miles, then stay left to continue on Nicasio Valley Road and drive 3.4 miles (Nicasio Reservoir will appear on left) to Point Reyes-Petaluma Road. Turn left and drive 0.4 miles to a dirt pull-out on left for parking and trailhead.

From North Bay/East Bay:

• From Vallejo, take Highway 37 west over the Petaluma River Bridge to Black Point and continue to the exit for Atherton Avenue. Take that exit (signed toward Black Point) for 0.1 mile to Atherton. Turn left on Atherton Avenue and drive 3.2 miles (cross Highway 101) and continue straight onto San Marin Drive and go 2.7 miles to Novato Boulevard. Turn right and drive 6.3 miles to Point Reyes-Petaluma Road. Turn left and drive 4.1 miles (a short way past junction with Nicasio Valley Road on left) to a dirt pull-out on left for parking and trailhead.
