Home to Petaluma's animal shelter, North Bay Animal Services (NBAS) is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to provide comprehensive animal services to the North Bay community that results in fewer homeless animals, greater pet retention, and happier families.
NBAS offers dog licensing for the cities of Petaluma, Windsor, Healdsburg, Calistoga and Cloverdale, low-cost spay and neuter services for low-income pet owners, and a Humane Education Program to help students acquire knowledge about animal-related problems, encourage students to think deeply about animal welfare and to support students in making compassionate and responsible choices about animals.
