Ranchita Canyon Vineyard overlooks the beautiful Pleasant Valley, and the first vines were planted in about 1970.
The Hinrichs family owns and operates the vineyard and winery with the goal to achieve rich, concentrated, bold fruit. They have south facing rolling hills at 1000' to 1400' elevation, with primarily chalky, calcareous soil—well known for producing premium wine grapes.
