Opened in May 2009 and 100% managed and maintained by volunteers, San Anselmo is very proud of its community dog park. Each year Red Hill Dog Park continues to grow and improve due to the tireless efforts of volunteers and generous donations from community and local businesses.
The dog park amenities are also provided by generous donations in time and money from volunteers, community and local businesses. While not a complete list, they include:
• One-acre completely fenced in
• Double gated entries/exits
• Benches and picnic tables
• Water fountains for dogs and humans
• Shade structures
• Shade trees
• Dog rinse area
• Endless supply of tennis balls
