Nestled in two acres of pine trees in Tahoe Vista, California, dog-friendly Rustic Cottages Resort consists of nineteen old Tahoe-style cottages, all with private bathrooms.
Originally the sawmill and labor camp of the Brockway Lumber Company, the property was converted to vacation cottages in 1925.
Every cottage is different–each with its own charm and modern conveniences. Rustic Cottages Resort is dog-friendly and centrally located on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe.
The cottages are across the street from the lake and just a stone’s throw away from a sandy beach and the water’s edge. They are minutes from great restaurants, shopping, North Shore casinos, and the world’s best skiing.
The Rustic Cottages received the California Dog Lovers’ Companion Golden Bone Award for being one of the most dog-friendly businesses in California. Please not that pets are not permitted on beds and furniture, and cannot be left in rooms unattended.
