The main hub of the Mammoth Lakes Trail System, the 7.8 mile Town Loop is made up of multi-use paths, on-street sections, promenades and bridges, provides a family-friendly tour of town with access to a variety of outbound trails and staging areas.
For an easily accessible walk with your dog, head to Sherwins Vista from Mammoth Creek Park. Let your dog cool off her paws and lap up some refreshing water at Mammoth Creek, then continue out to the vista while she sniffs at the manzanita bushes that line the path. Enjoy expansive views of the Sherwins and the White Mountains from the comfort of a park bench before you head back for the shade and lush grass of the park.
Help keep this an enjoyable experience for everyone by keeping your dog leashed and cleaning up after them.
