West Martis Creek Loop

The West Martis Creek Trail at Northstar California starts at the bottom of the dog-friendly Big Springs Gondola.

This 1.5 mile trail is a great easy/beginner introduction to the deep forest just outside of the village. The gently meandering path is a great option for those short on time.

Be sure to pick up a self-guided nature hike brochure at the trail head for details about  wildlife and vegetation.

• Difficulty: Easy
• Please pick up after your dog.
• Bring plenty of water for both of you.
