Named after a wide spot in Lagunitas Creek, this 22 acre natural area is located on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, one mile west of Point Reyes Station. The area primarily serves neighboring residents in Point Reyes Station and Inverness.
It is a popular site for bird watching, nature study, wildlife viewing (including Coho Salmon), and kayaking. It offers level walking paths, viewing areas, picnic tables, benches, paved parking, and access to Lagunitas Creek.
