William Land Park, also known simply as “Land Park” is a 207-arce park offering many amenities, including a zoo, amphitheater, golf course & ball fields. The park also has jogging paths, lakes, picnic areas, restrooms, and a rock garden.
Many people consider Land Park to be Sacramento’s best park. It’s expansive grounds make it an ideal park to take your dog for a walk or run. Or, pack a picnic and spend the day relaxing in the shade.
The park is home to many community events, including the annual Bark in the Park benefit for the Sacramento SPCA.
Finding parking can be challenging on weekends and when events are held at the park.
