Wine Country Animal Lovers (WCAL) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Calistoga, CA supporting strays, wildlife, and animals whose families cannot afford medical care.
Their mission is to provide shelter and quality medical care in a safe loving environment for all animals that come to Wine Country Animal Lovers with the goal of ensuring each animal finds its forever home.
They provide resources to existing pet owners so animals can remain in a responsible loving home. They also work to educate the public on responsible pet ownership through mentoring and outreach.
WCAL is 100% run by volunteers.. WCAL does not have their own shelter facility. Their animals stay at the Calistoga Pet Clinic or in local foster homes. All animals available for adoption will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and current on their vaccinations.
