The Bay Area Pet Fair and Adoptathon 2013, held last weekend at the Marin Center, was a fabulous success. DogTrekker.com was on hand both days and witnessed 40 dogs being given a new life with new families at the Rocket Dog Rescue center next to our booth.
“We are on track to reach our goal of 600 adoptions,” says Mike Murray, Director of Community Outreach for Pet Food Express. While a final count is not yet available, Murray says 253 animals found homes on Saturday. One of those is Ella, the newest member of our DogTrekker staff, who came home with us.
The next event on our fall schedule is the Norcal Pet Expo, Saturday October 19 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. Meet lots of beautiful dogs, learn, play, adopt, meet Shorty and Hercules from Animal Planet, and look for the big green DogTrekker tent! We'd love to meet you.
