Guided Hike at O’Neill Park

Easy to moderate 3-mile hike through nature and learn about the history of the area, the coastal sage and riparian habitat, and the various species that belong to this area. Bring your water and snack, wear longer shorts or pants, sturdy closed-toed shoes, and a hat/sunscreen. Dress in layers as the weather may get warmer along the way.
Parking and Meeting Place:
Meet and Park – 8:30 am
Once you enter the park and pay for parking, go to the right where the Nature Center is located. Park and meet at the front lot near the Nature Center (we will be standing at the front of the store). There will be restrooms for anyone who needs to go before the hike – there will be no restrooms along the trail.
All participants need to fill out our OCH Waiver. All minors (people under 18 years of age, must have their parent/guardian sign).
What to Bring:
Bring your water and snack, wear longer shorts or pants, sturdy closed-toed shoes, and a hat/sunscreen. Temperature is expected to be low-mid 70’s, please come prepared knowing that weather has been very unpredictable as of late. Know your limits.
*This is a dog-friendly trail, so please bring your pooch if you like. All dogs must remain on leash during the hike for the safety of our group, other hikers, the wildlife and your pet.
Tickets: Space is limited, so be sure to register yourself or your family/small group (max 5) early. All hikers must register as individuals or family. For larger groups (more than 5), individuals should sign up individually or schedule a tour for just your group (call 949.697.8651 or email email@example.com). Duplicate ticket orders will be removed to allow space for other hikers.
Donations: Guided hikes are free but donations are always welcome and help to ensure these programs for the public continue in the future. Check it out and support the cause. Thank you!
