Whether you are a serious distance runner or a casual weekend warrior, the 12th annual Hungry Dog Dash 5K run/walk on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. will be tons of fun! The course will be fast, flat and beautiful as you run along one of San Diego’s most spectacular waterways in Liberty Station, Point Loma.

The route is appropriate for runners and walkers of all skill levels and ages at our USAT&F certified course and sanctioned event.

This race is very dog friendly! Feel free to bring your leashed, four-legged running buddy to enjoy the run with you.

All proceeds from The Hungry Dog Dash fundraiser go to the Point Loma High School Cross Country Team. The event also helps raise awareness with younger students in the community about the PLHS running program. After a 2-year hiatus due to Covid, the 2023 race was the biggest yet! Come enjoy this community and family event promoting fitness and healthy lifestyles! Finish line activities will include live music, food, drinks, a local business vendor village and fun for everyone.
