The 106th annual Christmas Tree lighting in Redding joins First Fridays in Downtown to present what’s sure to be one of the most festive community gatherings of the year.

Sip, shop, and eat your way around Downtown Redding’s local shops and restaurants to take in all that First Friday has to offer.

Christmas Tree Lighting Schedule:

• 5:00 PM – First Fridays begins: sip, shop, and support local downtown businesses (dogs must stay outside market perimeter).
• 7:00 PM – Tree lighting ceremony

Please note that street closures will occur on the 1500 block of Market, Butte, and Yuba during this event.

Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome at the tree lighting. Dogs must stay outside the perimeter of the market at First Fridays.
