The World Dog Surfing Championships is a live, in-person event in Pacifica, California. This popular event brings thousands of people to the beaches of Pacifica and garners millions of dollars in national and worldwide press coverage to hundreds of millions of viewers and readers.

The event also helps local and regional businesses, brings awareness to dog charities, and supports local schools in Pacifica. One school in a recent year raised over $4,500 just from its parking fundraiser during the championships.

Thanks to the support of many friends, fans and generous donors, the event is now officially scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 2025, at Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica, California.
