There Karli was, a cute little dog wandering the streets of Sacramento. Picked up as a stray. Unclaimed by anybody. But then along came
Happy Tails Pet Sanctuary.
Happy Tails is a no-kill, cage-free sanctuary, which started out in 1993 as a haven for cats in the Sacramento area. At the physical sanctuary, the residents are cats. But, as things often turn out, other critters in need soon entered the picture, and now Happy Tails fosters offer a loving, secure place for dogs to recuperate from their troubles and get ready for a new, happy life, with new ones arriving often. Check them out if you’re looking for a new furever friend.
