When her owners split up, Deli lost her home. Luckily, she landed at Lily's Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary in Petaluma, where her people-loving ways and playful nature have won her lots of friends. Don't be fooled by those white hairs—this 8-year-old Lab mix is healthy and happy, with plenty of energy for walks, runs, ball-chasing, and other fun.
Deli's a smart, obedient girl whose ideal home has a good fence, lots of room for her to run around, and a person or two to share her life, appreciate her sweetness, and take her for lots of walks. While she's enjoying life at Lily's, she really wants her own home, and this sweet dog is going to make someone very happy.
Lily's Legacy is able to offer a safe haven to homeless senior dogs like Deli thanks to the hard work of many volunteers and the kind donations of many supporters. Coming up on September 18 in Novato is Music for Mutts, the sanctuary's annual fundraiser. This year the tunes are by Petaluma's own Foxes in the Henhouse; enjoy the music while sampling tasty local food and bidding on the awesome silent auction items. It's a fun time for people—and a real lifesaver for dogs like Deli. Tickets are limited; don't miss out!
