DogTrekker.com reader Lori O'Connor wrote to us about a recent weekend getaway to Yosemite for her family and their pup, Charles.
"Our first stop was Oakhurst where we stayed at the Best Western Plus Yosemite Gateway Inn and where Charles was greeted with open arms by the staff," wrote Lori. "Walking distance from the hotel is Bett's Gold Coin Restaurant. Charles had his own seat at the table and the server brought out a water bowl for him. The next morning we had pastries and coffee on the doggie-friendly patio at Jantz Bakery."
"Then we were off to Yosemite! Charles explored Yosemite with us and hiked pet-approved trails to Bridalveil Falls and Lower Yosemite Falls. That evening we stayed at the lovely Tenaya Lodge, the most dog friendly hotel ever!"
