Huntington Beach has incredible pet-friendly hotels, scenic places to take your pooch and a host of great restaurants for you and your beloved four-legged friends to eat. But what about spoiling your pup even more? Huntington Beach boasts many special places for treats, toys and grooming — everything your dog deserves, especially on vacation. These are four of Marilyn’s favorite places to shop.

Posh Pooch prides itself on keeping dogs as stress-free and healthy as possible, with individual grooming times, so no waiting. Plus, all foods, treats, leashes, collars, bowls, toys, etc., are made here in the USA, which means each dollar you spend supports the local community's economy.

Earthwise offers a full range of grooming services, including bath treatments with natural and hypoallergenic shampoos, simple or custom haircuts, nail trims and ear cleaning. Appointments are not needed, but feel free to call ahead to see if there's an open tub.

Right around the corner from us (and Marilyn’s favorite place) is Animalia, where you will find high quality pet food, treats, fantastic toys and accessories, along with a self-serve dog wash.

Kahoots features many supplies and gifts, but its food selection for your pup is truly something special. There’s Kahoots wild-caught salmon, premium chicken and brown rice, premium grain-free beef and boar, premium lamb and rice and much more. Kahoots was founded almost 30 years ago in the horse country of Southern California. Today there are 16 stores and the Surf City location is a local favorite.
