Pets lifeline rescue

By: DogTrekker Staff

Back in 1982, when Sonoma County had no animal shelter or rescue organizations, a group of dedicated souls decided to do something about it, and Pets Lifeline was born. Now saving hundreds of dogs and cats each year, Pets Lifeline has grown into an indispensable resource for the county's animals and those who love them, offering a haven for stray and homeless pets, plus spay/neuter services and dog training classes. Pets Lifeline's community outreach also includes humane education in local schools, a popular summer camp, and partnerships with many local organizations.

Cassie the dog up for adoption
Cassie

Currently at Pets Lifeline awaiting her forever family is the lovely Cassie, who arrived some time ago with her two puppies. As is often the case, the puppies were adopted right away, but Cassie's still waiting. She's a gorgeous Lab/boxer mix who knows her basic commands and is a quick learner. She loves everybody she meets, as long as they're human. Other animals, she's not so sure about, so she needs to be an only pet. Her ideal person is one who'd stay home with her a lot and/or take her along on fun outings. At 3 years old, she's still a young, energetic dog, in search of a lifelong companion. Is she the one for you? Find out more about her.
