Gold Country Pet Resort & Training Center in Ione, Amador County, has opened a regulation-size DockDogs diving pool and will soon have Splash Dogs certification, as well.
You can board your dog while you’re traveling and include aquatic adventures in their canine vacation. Or, come out for the day with your water-loving pooch and watch him have a ball. The resort holds Dock Diving classes; introductory classes are offered for beginners to assist dogs in learning to enter and exit the water.
Once your dog can navigate the dog ramp, she’s welcome to join in the aquatic fun.
