Corona Heights Park

Corona Heights Park

Corona Heights Park is not just a great spot for panoramic views, wildflowers, and hiking; it also features an off-leash dog park, making it a fantastic destination for both you and your four-legged companion. The off-leash area provides ample space for dogs to run, play, and socialize, creating a wonderful opportunity for your furry friend to enjoy some outdoor fun.

You can also take a walk on the one-mile Corona Heights Trail that winds around the hill and leads up to the summit, where your dog can be off-leash under voice control within the designated area. This trail network offers a stunning 360° view of the San Francisco Bay Area, with fairly stable dirt paths and some steep sections. Box step staircases are conveniently scattered throughout the trail for easy navigation. The most challenging portion of the trail is the descent towards the 15th Street tennis courts, covering approximately 0.2 miles, so make sure to keep your dog leashed during this part of the journey for their safety.

Whether you’re hiking, enjoying the wildflowers, or simply taking in the breathtaking views, Corona Heights Park is a great San Francisco park.
