Doran Park has a 2-mile stretch of sandy beach and is a popular place for visitors to picnic, build sand castles, fly kites, surf, fish and stroll.
Dogs on leash are welcome throughout the park.
The main trail meanders through the dunes on the ocean side of the park, and connects easily to an ADA accessible boardwalk with benches and wildlife viewing areas.
Be aware that Doran is a popular park all year, and you will encounter swimmers, picnickers, campers, fishermen, kite flyers, vehicles, and equestrians.
Individual campsites, restrooms with electrical outlets, flush toilets and coin operated showers ($1.50 per 5 minutes).
Please note: there are no RV hook-ups. The campgrounds are open year-round and offer quality camping facilities in beautiful surroundings.
