Doran Regional Park

Doran Regional Park

Sonoma County Regional Parks

Doran Park has a 2-mile stretch of sandy beach and is a popular place for visitors to picnic, build sand castles, fly kites, surf, fish and stroll.

Dogs on leash are welcome throughout the park.

The main trail meanders through the dunes on the ocean side of the park, and connects easily to an ADA accessible boardwalk with benches and wildlife viewing areas.

Be aware that Doran is a popular park all year, and you will encounter swimmers, picnickers, campers, fishermen, kite flyers, vehicles, and equestrians.

Day-use visitors: This park can be busy on weekends and holidays. The entrance will close when day-use parking is full. Plan to arrive before 10 a.m. or after 3 p.m. for the best opportunity to find parking. Have an alternate destination in mind if parking is not available.

Campers: More than 120 tent and RV campsites are available year-round. Campground reservations are required. First-come, first-served sites are not available and same-day; drop-in camping is not allowed. Please note there are no RV hook-ups. The campgrounds are open year-round and offer quality camping facilities in beautiful surroundings.

Please check the website for current parking, camping, boat launch and dog fees, if any, and seasonal hours.
