Bring your four-legged friend to Kirkwood XC, where dogs are allowed on the High Trail behind the Kirkwood Inn and the Outer Loop on the meadow.

A dog pass is $20 for the season, ($10 of which goes to the Ski Patrol Dogs) is not valid for chair-lift access. Please note that pets must be on a leash due to county and state regulations. Mutt Mitts are available in several locations around the resort - please be responsible and clean up after your pet.

Kirkwood XC is on Highway 88 at Kirkwood Mountain Resort.

Snowshoes are available for rent from most ski shops; all you need are some warm snow boots. On designated trails with packed snow and flat terrain, walking in snowshoes is almost as easy as walking in street shoes. more »
