Dog on path for Mighty Mutt march

Join dog and recreation lovers from throughout the Bay Area on April 23 for a march and rally to save dog walking in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. At this 11th hour, we need to show up in force to protect our access to the places we love: Crissy Field, Fort Funston, Marin Headlands, Rancho Corral de Tierra, Ocean Beach, Muir Beach and others.

Route: Start at 11 a.m. at the west end of the Crissy Field airfield (near the Gulf of Farallones Visitors Center and Marine Drive). The march will meander through the airfield heading east on the promenade to the East Beach Picnic area. Length of route is approximately 1 mile. Biscuits and water for dogs will be provided at the end of the route.

Please bring a leash for each dog even if you choose to walk your dog off-leash.

Entertainment will feature the band The Blue Swamis.

Parking Info: There is parking near Stillwell Hall (on Old Mason Street), at West Beach, and at East Beach.

Here is disability access info.

Sponsored by Crissy Field Dog Group, Coastside DOG, Ft. Funston Dog Walkers, Grateful Dog Rescue, Marin County DOG, Save Our Recreation, SFDOG, ProDog, DogPAC, Point Isabel Dog Owners, Albany Landfill Dog Owners Group, Lamorinda Dogs, Muttville and others.
