Laguna de Santa Rosa Trail

This 1.8-mile multi-use trail is open to hikers and equestrians and includes an overlook with benches and Laguna and vineyard views.

The trail runs on the east side of the Laguna channel between Highway 12 and Occidental Road, with parking areas along both roads.

Visitors walking north on the trail from the Highway 12 entrance will enjoy views of Mount Saint Helena. An unpaved .6-mile pedestrian-only segment loops off the trail toward the riparian cover along the channel. In rainy weather, the Laguna transforms from a dry to flooded landscape, and trail sections may be closed.

Licensed dogs are permitted on the multi-use trail segment on leashes no longer than 6 feet. Due to the environmental sensitivity of the area, dogs are not permitted on the pedestrian-only trail segment.
