Olympic Valley
Olympic Valley, popular for its dog-friendly atmosphere, is a quaint community in Placer County, California. It's located northwest of Tahoe City along Highway 89, nestled on the banks of the Truckee River near Lake Tahoe.
The area is home to Palisades Tahoe, the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics. Notably, Olympic Valley holds the distinction of being the smallest resort area to ever host the Olympic Winter Games.
