Lassen Humane Society (LHS) was formed in 1964 by a handful of dedicated volunteers who engaged in the challenge of advocacy for Lassen County animals.
LHS spay/neuter offers subsidies to assist pet owners who cannot otherwise afford to pay the full cost of spay or neuter surgeries for their pets. They also assist with animal emergencies where the owner needs financial assistance, as well as providing dog and cat food for those in need.
