To provide after-hour emergency services, Mendocino Coast Animal Hospital participates in an on-call rotation, via answering service, with two other veterinary facilities in the area.
An after-hour call to any hospital will be routed to the on-call doctor for that day or evening. When on call, they can usually meet emergencies within 10 minutes.
