Chow down with your dog: Fort Bragg restaurants

Always remember to bring a sweatshirt, as dog-friendly outdoor dining at coast-side can be chilly! In Fort Bragg, dog-friendly table service doesn’t get better than on the heated, pet-friendly patio at Silver’s at the Wharf and Anchor Lodge in the busy Noyo Harbor Fishing Village. A fixture since the 1950s, the updated restaurant serves coastal classics like chowder, calamari, steams, seafood salads and platters.

Nearby Sea Pal Cove is more casual, specializing in fish and chips, while Café One, Django’s Rough Bar Café (more seafood), Jenny’s Giant Burger (like it sounds), Piaci Pub & Pizzeria and Noyo River Grill all offer pet-friendly patio seating. In the mood for a brew? North Coast Brewing Company and Overtime Brewing Company will hit the spot. Craving sweets? Mendocino Cookie Company is worth a visit.

Meanwhile, Rhody’s Garde Café, featuring farm-fresh cuisine, closes in winter but will reopen in spring. Be sure to check it out!
