Pound Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded in 2001. They rescue approximately 400 puppies every year. They are a completely volunteer run organization whose purpose is to keep puppies out of overcrowded shelters where they are at risk for disease and euthanasia.
Puppies are fostered in volunteer foster homes where we can keep the puppies healthy, socialized, and in their litter until they are old enough to be placed in permanent, loving homes.
All of the puppies they rescue come to Pound Puppy Rescue looking for love and a "forever" home. The hope is that all puppies placed through this organization will never experience being homeless or unloved again.
They do not have a rescue facility or shelter, only a mailing address. Although this means they do not have a central phone number or regular hours for adoptions, their puppies are raised in volunteer foster homes that provide love, attention, socialization (most of the time with kids, other dogs, and sometimes cats), and safety inside the house.
They do their best to get all of their puppies and dogs off to the right start. To meet their puppies, the first step is the adoption application.
Thank you for considering adopting a rescue puppy!
