Three Meadows Trail is a level, easy trail at Maxwell Park in Sonoma through mature trees, meadows and the remnants of a historic orchard. (The Maxwell family farmed the property for 100 years until the late 1960s, planting plum and apricot trees that still produce fruit.)
Three Meadows Trail runs parallel to Sonoma Creek, which is the sole drainage of Sonoma Valley, running from the Mayacamas Mountains to San Pablo Bay.
Leashed dogs are permitted on all trails. Find the trailhead behind the playground. A trail map is available on the website.
