A vibrant dog park bathed in sunlight features abundant greenery with mature trees, offering ample shade for leisurely outdoor activities. In the distance is a well-equipped playground that presents an additional activity area. An inviting picnic table spreads out nearby, ideal for enjoying meals al fresco or taking relaxing breaks from play. A neatly-placed trash bin aids in maintaining the park's cleanliness for everyone's enjoyment. Dominating the scene is a generously wide dirt path gracefully curving through the expanse of grass, promising exploratory walks and lively fetch games.

Mission Creek Preserve is a dog-friendly paradise, with plenty of hiking trails perfect for both you and your four-legged companion.

Take in views of the colorful painted hills, Mount San Gorgonio, and other natural wonders as you explore the 4,760 acres of land. The two of you will feel surrounded by nature’s beauty as you trek along the trails, spotting endangered species like the least Bell’s vireo, southwest willow flycatcher, tanagers and vermillion flycatchers. Keep an eye out for deer, bear, big horn sheep and mountain lions as well.

Explore a piece of Greater Palm Springs history at the Mission Creek Stonehouse. This remnant of the area’s ranch days features informational exhibits, picnic areas and restrooms, so you can bring lunch and make it a full day of exploring the Preserve.
