Fun for all at Strut Your Mutt.
On August 23, head for Treasure Island in San Francisco. Once you get there, join the happy throngs converging on the Great Lawn for the second annual Strut Your Mutt festival, where you, Sadie, and your BFFs can take part in a walk or fun run and raise funds for animal rescue.
There are plenty of other fun activities for people and dogs alike. There's a doggie costume contest, a dog massage booth from Happy Hounds, a Smooch Your Pooch booth where photographer Josh Norem can capture that special connection you've got with your dog, and dog-friendly wine tasting from Robert Keenan winery. Also, food trucks, agility demos, and much more.
Strut Your Mutt! Is part of Best Friends Animal Society's expanding efforts to Save Them All®. Known for decades for their work operating a no-kill sanctuary in Kanab, UT, in more recent years Best Friends has reached out to form partnerships with local rescue groups as part of their strategy to stop the unnecessary deaths of millions of dogs, cats, and other critters in shelters each year.
