Back in June, 2013 Anita M., was reading the latest DogTrekker Newsletter that included a photo of a pup that was available for adoption from Grateful Dogs Rescue. His name was Achilles, and she was smitten.
“We were not looking for a dog, we already had 2 great boys, but there was something irresistible about Achilles, so I inquired. Several emails and 2 meetings later, he was home,” exclaimed Anita.
“He charms everyone, and his dog brothers love to play with him. The whole gang had a blast romping on the beach in Carmel, where we had a fun vacation in September. If not for your newsletter and your wonderful features of rescue organizations, I would never have found the little guy, and our lives would not be filled with as much fun and love.”
