Lodging for furry friends and their families

A vibrant dog park bathed in sunlight features abundant greenery with mature trees, offering ample shade for leisurely outdoor activities. In the distance is a well-equipped playground that presents an additional activity area. An inviting picnic table spreads out nearby, ideal for enjoying meals al fresco or taking relaxing breaks from play. A neatly-placed trash bin aids in maintaining the park's cleanliness for everyone's enjoyment. Dominating the scene is a generously wide dirt path gracefully curving through the expanse of grass, promising exploratory walks and lively fetch games.
Concord has five dog-passionate hotels.

A new Concord hotel that debuted in the summer of 2023 features outstanding, dog-friendly service. The 86-room Hampton Inn is located about a mile from historic Todos Santos Plaza. Tucked just off Willow Pass Road near the 680-242 split, this four-story property has a mission-tile roof and outlooker beams that reflect the city’s Spanish Colonial character. It’s one of several Concord hotels that cater to four-legged guests and service dogs.

In addition to the Hampton Inn, Concord has four other pet-friendly hotels ready to roll out the red carpet. Concord Plaza offers a doggie relief area and convenient first-floor rooms for pet owners. The Hilton Concord welcomes dogs in comfortable rooms with Mount Diablo views. Laundry facilities and arcade games are among amenities at the pet-friendly Premier Inns Concord, while well-behaved dogs and service animals stay free at the Motel 6 Concord.

Check out the Visit Concord website to download the Concord Perro Trail guide, a fantastic (and free!) resource showcasing dog-friendly restaurants, tap rooms and parks around town. Remember, many local parks accommodate wheelchairs, and these pup-friendly hotels offer ADA-accessible rooms plus amenities for guests with sensory challenges and other concerns.
