Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to opt out of the “sharing” of your personal information for targeted advertising.
When you visit DogTrekker, we share browsing data with Google for the purpose of serving relevant ads through Google Ad Manager. We do not sell your personal information for money.
What happens when you opt out
- Google Ad Manager will show non-personalized ads instead of targeted ads
- Google Analytics will stop collecting your browsing data
- Our own first-party analytics continue to work (we use this internally to improve the site, and it is not shared with any third party)

We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends the GPC signal, we automatically treat you as opted out. Firefox, Brave, and DuckDuckGo support GPC natively.
