Join the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) at their annual Animals on Broadway fundraiser on May 7 at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek. ARF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless animals in the Bay Area. By attending this event, participants will not only enjoy a day of fun with their furry friends but also support the organization’s vital work.

The pet walk begins at 10:30 a.m., with registration at $35 per person or $25 for children under 12, followed by a festival with lots of fun. Proceeds go towards ARF’s lifesaving programs, such as adoption services, veterinary care and education.

Animals on Broadway offers a variety of engaging activities and events for all ages, including:

  • Pet adoptions
  • Vendor booths
  • Food trucks
  • Live music
  • Kids’ activities

Here are three reasons to attend Animals on Broadway:

  1. Support a worthy cause: As a nonprofit organization, ARF relies on donations to save the lives of homeless animals. Participation in Animals on Broadway contributes to the well-being of these animals, providing them with the care they need and a chance at a better life.
  2. Enjoy a family-friendly event: With activities for everyone, Animals on Broadway is an ideal event for families, friends and pet lovers. Bring your pets along and savor a day of fun and festivities.
  3. Connect with fellow animal lovers: Animals on Broadway is a perfect place to meet other people who share a love of animals. It’s an opportunity to make new friends, learn about animal welfare and get involved in the community.
