The gardens are part of the larger Turtle Bay Exploration Park, which extends over 200 acres total and connects directly to the Sacramento River Trail—a paved 20-mile path that runs from Turtle Bay all the way to Shasta Dam. This setup means you can spend an hour in the gardens, then transition into a longer river walk if your dog’s energy level calls for it.
