Baldwin Dog Park in Concord has 2 fenced play areas, one of which is designated for small dogs less than 30 pounds only. Small dogs may use the larger area at the owner’s discretion. Dogs weighing over 30 pounds are not allowed in the smaller dog area for any reason.
Baldwin Dog Park is located in John F. Baldwin Park, a community park that includes the Concord Senior Center, preschool classrooms, a childcare facility, dance studio, basketball court, softball field, bocce courts and a children’s play area.
All dogs must be on leash when entering and exiting the dog park. All other areas of the park require dogs on leash.
The Dog Park is closed on Tuesdays for maintenance, and will close during inclement weather. Please call the City of Concord’s Rain Hotline at (925) 671-3479 for park opening or closure.
