Bar Jubilee is the brainchild of the team behind the well-regarded bars Blue Collar and Cold Shoulder. Walking in, you’re immediately struck by the carnival-inspired aesthetic — plush velvet seating, a long copper bar surface, rich drapery, and eclectic artwork featuring music icons covering the walls. The 3,000-square-foot venue feels more like stepping into a curated entertainment space than a typical cocktail bar. Upstairs, there’s a relaxed game room where you can actually use the vintage pinball machines and board games without feeling rushed.
The drink menu leans heavily creative and theatrical. The “Orville Old Fashioned” is built with popcorn syrup and fat-washed bourbon — it actually tastes like you’re drinking a gourmet popcorn snack. “The Gladiator” blends limoncello, hazelnut gin, and olive-leaf liqueur with other ingredients for something that sounds complicated but goes down smooth. These aren’t drinks you can get anywhere else, which is part of the appeal.
The bar opens daily at 7 p.m., and they run happy hour from 7-8 p.m. where cocktails drop to $12. It’s worth timing your visit to catch that window, especially on a weeknight when the crowd is lighter.
Dogs are welcome on the outside patio, which works well if you want to bring your dog along for a relaxed evening. The patio has its own vibe separate from the main bar energy. Since patio space does fill up, calling ahead to confirm they can accommodate your dog makes sense — it only takes a minute and saves you from showing up hoping for a table that isn’t there. It’s the kind of place where having a dog on the patio feels like part of the scene, not an afterthought.
