Beverly Hills Dog Park

Beverly Hills Dog Park

Beverly Hills Dog Park

344 Foothill Road, Beverly Hills, California 90210

(310) 285-6850

The dog park sits on a sloped hillside with mature oaks casting real shade—not the wimpy kind you get in most LA parks. The terrain is a mix of grass and decomposed granite that drains well after rain, so your dog’s paws won’t sink into mud. The layout forces you uphill to enter, which naturally separates energetic dogs from the less active crowd without feeling claustrophobic. Decomposed granite paths wind through both sections, and the hillside setting means dogs get a mild workout just moving around. Canyon views are visible from the upper sections. Parking spaces sit directly adjacent to the park entrance, which beats hunting for street parking in this neighborhood.

Dogs of any size roam the main area, but there’s a dedicated section for small dogs (under 25 pounds, typically) that’s fenced separately. Both areas have water stations with bowls. The park is open dawn to dusk year-round. Mornings before 10 a.m. tend to draw fewer dogs than afternoons, and weekdays are quieter than weekends. The city closes the park for maintenance periodically, so check the Beverly Hills Parks and Recreation website for any closures before heading out.

The park is located within Foothill Park in the foothills above downtown Beverly Hills. The elevation change throughout the park means there are several flat spots where dogs can rest. Bring your own water if you’re staying longer than 30 minutes—the park’s bowls fill quickly on warm days.
