California Labradors, Retrievers & More Rescue is San Diego’s fastest-growing and most active dog rescue organization. Its volunteers work to rescue thousands of dogs each year and place them in forever homes in and around San Diego.
Labs & More Dog Rescue has rescued more than 12,000 dogs since its inception in 2011. They are a 100% volunteer-run, non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
The organization rescues large dogs, often with past medical trauma, from high kill shelters. They help pregnant mothers, puppy litters, seniors, and otherwise homeless, discarded dogs. They provide refuge and relief to forgotten dogs that with medical attention, love and training become loyal companions. Often, these rescued dogs were on their last day of life in a shelter, on the streets, or abandoned by their owners.
